ISOLATION........

I had this nasty Dream last night
we were out of isolation
and there were celebrations in the street
and much-overdue elation.....

But,we-seemed to-have-lost all track of time
how-long,had-this gone on?
as the garden now was overgrown
and both our cars,had gone!.....

And what about the Grand-kids
had they started back at School?
so I 'phoned for information
and felt an utter fool.....

As...we'd been indoors a LONG time
just sleeping in our bed
'cause,the youngest three had started work
and the other three were Wed!......

When I was at junior School,crossing the road,where we lived at least,was fairly simple and fairly safe as you could here a Car or Bus or Lorry coming along the road long before it ever got to you. That's how it has become now to some extent with the road where we are suddenly going from having thousands of vehicles pass by daily to falling eerily quiet such that,even though Cars are more silent than they used to be,you can now hear them approaching way before you see them.
