Mother.......
You only have just one of these,
you only have one Mother.
They carry you,and give you life,
and love you like no other.
They nurture you,and watch you crawl,
and hold you when you walk.
They keep you safe,and wipe your tears,
and listen when you talk.
They keep you clean,and wash your clothes,
and sit you on their knee.
They hold your hand,and play some games,
and hear you count to three
They lie with you,if you can't sleep,
and sing a lullaby.
They kiss your lips,if your not well,
or if you're hurt,or cry.
They do all this,and cook and clean,
and often face much strife.
They do all this,day-in,day-out,
'cause YOU become their life.
You only have just one of these,
you only have one Mother.

When I was at junior School,crossing the road,where we lived at least,was fairly simple and fairly safe as you could here a Car or Bus or Lorry coming along the road long before it ever got to you. That's how it has become now to some extent with the road where we are suddenly going from having thousands of vehicles pass by daily to falling eerily quiet such that,even though Cars are more silent than they used to be,you can now hear them approaching way before you see them. Coronavirus...... Apparently some 'experts' initially predicted a million deaths in the UK but that figure has now been lowered with an expert Professor  updating that to some 20,000 and more recently to 5,700.Also he says that two thirds of those who die in the next few months,supposedly of Coronavirus,would have died anyway of something else. Further,it appears that if someone dies under the care of Medical professionals and if said person has Coronavirus at time of Death,then that is being listed as  the cause of death when it may or may not be the case. So time will tell eventually whether the restrictions imposed on people's lives and the economic impact that will go on far longer have been absolutely necessary or whether we've all been living through a real life episode of Spooks......
