I was looking at the crossword-clues

but-I-didn't have me glasses

and with blurry-eyes read "Bum hole"

so,it made me think of arses...


Anus wouldn't fit at all

and ass'ole seemed too crude

so-I-thought I'd better find me specs

or the answer would elude....


So with vision now in focus

via-specs a little later

the-clue-in-fact was "Bomb hole"

and-that's a s##t hole of a crater......

When I was at junior School,crossing the road,where we lived at least,was fairly simple and fairly safe as you could here a Car or Bus or Lorry coming along the road long before it ever got to you. Coronavirus...... Apparently some 'experts' initially predicted a million deaths in the UK but that figure has now been lowered with an expert Professor  updating that to some 20,000 and more recently to 5,700.Also he says that two thirds of those who die in the next few months,supposedly of Coronavirus,would have died anyway of something else. Further,it appears that if someone dies under the care of Medical professionals and if said person has Coronavirus at time of Death,then that is being listed as  the cause of death when it may or may not be the case. So time will tell eventually whether the restrictions imposed on people's lives and the economic impact that will go on far longer have been absolutely necessary or whether we've all been living through a real life episode of Spooks......
